The Haggard Law Firm is proud to announce that trial lawyers Jason Brenner and Pedro Echarte have been named partners.
Brenner joined Haggard Law as a law clerk in June 2009 and was hired by the firm as an attorney upon his law school in graduation in May of 2010. He was promoted to an associate position in 2011. Over the years Brenner has handled a wide array of cases including negligent security, auto accident, wrongful death and personal injury cases involving catastrophic injury. Some cases of note included a $12 million verdict obtained following a 5-day trial in a wrongful death/negligent security case against a hotel, a $5 million settlement with a popular Miami Beach nightclub following a brutal beating by a club employee on a young patron, and was part of the trial team that earned a $1.6 million result in a negligent security case involving a sexual assault.

Echarte interned with Haggard Law while he was a law student in 2008. He rejoined the firm as an associate attorney in October 2013. In January of 2019, he became a partner at the firm.
Echarte handles an array of cases for the firm, including injury or death resulting from fires, negligent security, drowning and other catastrophic personal injury cases. Echarte has obtained a $10.6 million settlement result in a negligent security, catastrophic injury case involving a shooting during a home invasion. He obtained $2.45 million in a settlement for several victims and family members of a Super Bowl day shooting at an apartment complex. After less than a year of litigation, Echarte delivered a $2.3 million settlement to the family of a young man who died of smoke inhalation in a trailer fire
