Jason Brenner received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2004 from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2010, graduating cum laude. Brenner joined The Haggard Law Firm as a law clerk in June 2009 and was hired by the firm as an attorney upon his law school in graduation in May of 2010. He was promoted to an associate position in 2011.
Brenner handles a wide array of cases for the firm including negligent security, auto accident, wrongful death and other personal injury cases involving catastrophic injuries. Brenner, serving as co-counsel, was able to deliver a $5 million settlement to the plaintiffs of the high-profile ‘Cameo Nightclub Beating’ case (Youness Adlan v. Cameo Theatre et al.) in September of 2015.
In 2016, a Miami-Dade County Jury sided with Brenner’s argument that Haggard Law client Maria Navas’ permanent foot injury suffered when she was trampled at a movie theater could have been prevented if proper security measures had been activated. The Jury awarded Navas $1.7 million. He was also an integral team member of the Amanda Slone v. Cornerstone case, which was awarded $1.6 million via jury verdict in June of 2011.
