Todd Michaels

Todd Michaels is a lifelong resident of Miami-Dade County. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999 from the University of Michigan, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami in 2002.
Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Michaels served as an Assistant Public Defender for roughly five years. During his last year with the Public Defender’s Office, he served as a Felony Training Attorney, supervising other felony trial lawyers. After leaving the Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Michaels served as a Federal Public Defender and also was a private criminal defense practitioner. Mr. Michaels tried in excess of fifty trials in both the State and Federal Court systems.
Todd joined the Haggard Law Firm in 2009, and handles a wide array of firm cases involving wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury. His practice primarily involves premises liability negligent security cases. Additionally, Mr. Michaels handles aviation, pool drowning, auto accident, and other injury cases representing clients who were injured through the negligence of others.
